Dansa í tveimur sýningum um helgina, annarsvegar frumsýning á Transaquaniu með Íslenska Dansfloknnum og hinsvegar tvær sýningar af Teach us to outgrow our madness á sunnudaginn.
Á fimmtudaginn er frumsýning á verki Ernu ómarsdóttur, Damien Jalet og Gabríelu friðriks -Transaquania-Into thin air. Frumsýninginn er á fimmtudaginn 7 oktober kl 20:00, önnur sýning á verkinu er föstudaginn 8 okt kl 20:00. Verkið er sýnt á stóra sviði Borgarleikhússins. Aukasýningar eru nú á verkinu Teach us to outgrow our madness eftir Ernu Ómars á sunnudaginn 10 oktober. Verkið hefur túrað um Evrópu síðasta árið en í því dansa SSN, Erna Ómars, Sissel M Björkli, Riina Huutannen og Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir. Einungis ein sýning var á verkinu í Þjóðleikhúsinu á síðasta ári en vegna mikillar eftirspurnar verða nú tvær aukasýningar í Norðurpólnum á sunnudaginn 10 oktober kl 15 og kl 18. Five Nordic women sharing a secret. A mystery, impossible for an outsider to understand. These ageless creatures seem to be constantly in a trance. Possessed by a spirit that makes them lose control, turning this at times so well-mannered quintet into a Dionysian force.
Teach Us to Outgrow Our Madness sets out to explore the intense relationships that exist between women living closely together – be it sisters, nuns, best friends, members of a sect, or polygamist wives. The rivalry, the secrets, the gossip, the cruelty but also the kindness, the bonds, and the unconditional love.
This piece combines dance, live music and storytelling into a horrifying yet liberating experience.
