“Tónspor” new televison series featuring composers and choreographers
Here is the link to the first episode of Tónspor just aired yesterday featuring the collaboration of composer Þórarinn Guðnason and myself with our project “Echo / Bergamál” The show is aired at Ríkisútvarpið RUV – The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service
Tónspor consist of 6 episodes featuring the following choreographers Erna Ómarsdóttir, Steinunn Ketilsdóttir, Lára Stefánsdóttir, Sigríður Soffía Níelsdóttir, Margrét Bjarnadóttir og Helena Jónsdóttir and Composers Ólöf Arnalds, Áskell Másson, Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, Daníel Bjarnason, Hildigunnur Rúnarsdóttir og Þórarinn Guðnason.
The task of each pair was to make a 7 min performance performed live at the Reykjavík Arts festival. The episode follows our previous work, the making of the piece and the performance itself.
